About Arctic Traders

Founded in 1993, Arctic Traders specialises in the procurement of fresh and frozen seafood for leading European processors, Restaurant Groups, Food Service and Retailers.

We pride ourselves on our passionate, dynamic and flexible approach, utilising the know how we have gained in over 20 years experience within the Seafood sector.

Our Products are sourced from a truly global supply base. We have stringent supplier selection criteria and only source our seafood from approved establishments that meet the technical and ethical standards that we demand.  We have a robust policy on sourcing and work only with well managed fisheries. Arctic Traders is Marine Stewardship / Aquaculture Stewardship Council certified.

We aim to buy our products as close to the source as possible; thereby reducing lead times, shortening supply chains and removing costs.  To meet our customers' demanding needs, we travel the world to find new and exciting products to bring to the UK

Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC)

Arctic Traders Ltd is the UK sales office for Seafood Producers Cooperative.

SPC is North America's oldest and most successful Fisherman's cooperative. SPC  was formed over 70  years ago by a group of fishermen who realised that the best way to process and market their own fish was via a cooperative.

There are currently 515 member owners fishing with hook & line only "One Hook, One Fish"

SPC produces Salmon, Halibut, Sablefish (Black Cod) and Albacore Tuna.
